Open a shared mailbox in a browser
- Sign in to your account in Outlook on the web
- Click your name in the top-right corner
- Click Open another mailbox
- Type the email address in the search bar then click Open
- The mailbox will open in a new tab
Open a shared mailbox in the desktop (PC) version of Outlook
- Open Outlook
- Click File in the top-left corner
- Click Add Account
- Type email address in the search bar then click Open
- On the Sign In window, change the name of the email to your FSUID
- Ex. as-help@fsu.edu to yourFSUID@fsu.edu
- Enter your password and click Sign in
- Complete the 2Duo Authorization
- Select “Sign in for the app only”
- Restart Outlook
Outlook Open a shared mailbox in the desktop (Mac) version of Outlook
- Open Outlook
- Select the Tools tab
- Click Accounts
- Click the + symbol in the bottom-left, then New Account
- Type email address in the search bar then click Continue
- On the Sign In window, change the name of the email to your FSUID
- Ex. as-help@fsu.edu to yourFSUID@fsu.edu
- Enter your password and click Sign in
- Complete the 2Duo Authorization
- Select “Sign in for the app only”
- Restart Outlook
